Had a wonderful week in Ankara visiting Bilkent University.
Packed it in : recorded Onur Türkmen’s solo cycle Songs from a Circle, taught a seminar for the composer’s department and recorded student pieces, taught the lovely the Bilkent violin students, and played a concert in the Klassik Keyiflir series at Müze Evliyagil. The concert was all Knox – Garth and I switched off playing solo’s and duo’s, then we played Garth’s quartet and sextet with Bilkent faculty members and students.
